About Me
My Approach
Hi I’m Molly Pilisuk, a licensed therapist in Seattle, WA. I’ve worked with children, teens, and families for 12+ years in a variety of settings including schools, outpatient clinics, residential programs, and in-home services. I am trained in and use evidence-based modalities in my practice because they are effective, but I also love to use art, play, and music. I’m not afraid to get creative, use humor, and try something new! Every child and family is unique, and I enjoy tailoring therapy to your individual goals, interests, and strengths. I believe that the “best” therapy is what works best for you. My goal is to make therapy a place where kids feel safe to explore and grow into their most fulfilled and authentic selves.
Education and Training
I received my Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from the University of Washington with a clinical concentration on Children, Youth, and Families. During my studies, I completed a fellowship through Northwest Leaders in Behavioral Health which included additional training and consultation to support my commitment to the child mental health field. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (Lic#: LW61033822) which means that I am fully licensed to practice independently in the state of Washington. I am a certified Child Mental Health Specialist which means that I completed specialized training, supervision, and experience related to child development and treatment of children, youth, and their families.
Some of my additional specialized certifications and training include:

Outside of Therapy
When I’m not in the office, I enjoy spending time in nature practicing my plant identification skills, hanging out with friends and family, reading and hosting book clubs, listening to music and podcasts, creating handmade cards for my loved ones, and shamelessly watching reality TV.
